Senior Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will lead cloud migration, delivery governance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful execution of Azure-based technology initiatives.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Technical Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure-based cloud and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Oversee cloud lifecycle management, including Azure environment setup, application assessments, workload migrations, and secure cloud configurations.
• Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies, manage project backlogs, allocate technical resources, and remove delivery roadblocks.
• Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, track resource expenditures, and drive Azure cost optimization initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Track project risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing executive-level reporting and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of Technical Project Management experience, with a strong focus on cloud adoption and IT infrastructure delivery.
• Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, data analytics, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum projects, managing cross-functional teams, and utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
