Public Health Engineer

Senior Public Health Engineer<br />One of our clients is recruiting for a Senior Public Health Engineer to join them in a 6 months contract.<br />This role would require you to operate via an Umbrella company.<br />They are hybrid working and can offer bases in London.<br />As the Senior Public Health Engineer, you will lead the technical assurance and review of Public Health Engineering designs across the Restoration and Renewal Programme. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary technical team to independently assess consultant-produced designs to ensure compliance with programme requirements, statutory obligations, applicable standards and heritage constraints. You will provide clear technical challenge, timely advice and practical recommendations within a fast-paced programme environment.<br />Skills and experience

• Degree in Public Health Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Experienced in Public Health building services design in the context of complex building projects.
• Sound knowledge of UK regulations, standards and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Sound engineering judgement and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Experienced and proficient in the use of digital delivery and coordination tools, including Aconex, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Ability to work proactively and effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary Programme environment.
