Job Description

Eagle Harbor, LLC., is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst - LMS to develop, modify, and support SQL-based reports and extract actionable insights from our Learning Management System (LMS) data. In this role, you will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to handle complex reporting requests, ensure LMS data integrity, and support daily LMS Helpdesk operations by providing coverage for the LMS Administrator(s). This position requires a strong technical foundation in Microsoft SQL, data warehousing, and technical documentation, alongside strong communication and customer service skills. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Responsibilities

  • SQL Reporting & Data Analysis:
  • Develop, modify, maintain, and support custom, complex reports using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services / SSRS).
  • Write raw SQL queries directly without relying exclusively on visual tools or wizards.
  • Experience extracting, organizing, and creating reports from a Data Warehouse.
  • Retrieve, interpret, and perform both routine and ad-hoc data analyses to support business and training compliance needs.
  • Train end-users on the operation, generation, and scheduling of custom reports.
  • LMS Administration & Data Management:
  • Manage incoming datasets, including data preparation, validation, and execution of bulk uploads into the LMS.
  • Assist with the review, consolidation, and optimization of existing reporting structures.
  • Provide support and coverage for LMS Administrator(s) and LMS Helpdesk operations using a Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within the LMS according to established guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Technical Documentation:
  • Coordinate with Federal, contractor, and internal personnel to capture, refine, and deliver custom reporting requirements.
  • Create, maintain, update, and follow clear technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Communicate and escalate technical issues to the LMS Team Lead and collaborate effectively with members of the broader IT Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, with opportunities to develop new skills supporting broader IT/analytics operations.

Degree/Education/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field; OR a minimum of 4 years of equivalent related work experience.
  • Microsoft SQL Server database certifications preferred. Required Experience & Skills:
  • SQL Expertise: Demonstrated capability in writing and maintaining SQL queries and reports without relying on visual tools or wizards.
  • Data Warehousing: Direct experience querying and generating reports from an enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Support Operations: Familiarity with Helpdesk ticketing systems and user support workflows.
  • Documentation & Process: Proven ability to create, maintain, and follow detailed technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and customer service skills. Must be able to perform effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member. Desired Experience & Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or other data-related certifications.
  • Prior experience supporting Enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS) in a government, contractor, or corporate environment.
