This employer is hiring for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to the energy transition by working on substation construction and modernization projects. The Role

• Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and ultra-high voltage substations (110kV to 380kV).
• Install high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems.
• Mount components such as high-voltage clamps, suspension, and support insulators.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, including pipe and cable installation.
• Modify plan documents with red markings, ensuring accurate project records.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in locksmithing, preferably from construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or metal processing industries.
• Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to sites with a personal vehicle.
• Readiness for regular Monday-Friday site assignments across Southwest Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a motivated, self-directed work approach.
