U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Marlton, NJ, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy vessels.
  • Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
  • Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification.
  • Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems and provide installation support for new system upgrades.
  • Develop training materials, test plans, and procedures, and provide meeting support.

What You'll Need

  • BS in Marine Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; recent Maritime Academy graduates are preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
