U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Mullica Hill, NJ, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy vessels.
  • Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
  • Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification.
  • Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
  • Provide installation support for new system upgrades on U.S. Navy ships and submarines.
  • Assist with data analysis, logistics development, project planning, and training.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from an ABET institution is required.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; recent Maritime Academy graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
