Job Description

Job Title: Database Administrator 2
Location: Austin, TX 
Duration: Long-Term | Hybrid
No.of openings: 2

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of Database Administration / Data Warehousing
  • Strong data warehouse & data mart development/implementation
  • Data modeling: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, normalized models
  • Strong SQL and enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.
  • ETL tools: Informatica, IBM DataStage, or similar
  • Business Objects and Data Dictionary experience
  • Experience with Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or similar reporting tools
  • Database performance tuning, monitoring, security, backup/recovery
  • Logical & physical database modeling/design
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred:

  • Oracle Database
  • Power BI report creation
  • Knowledge of EIR accessibility standards / assistive technologies
