MFT Systems Admin
Location: Remote CST preferred or EST 
 
Job Summary
The MFT Systems Administrator is responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting secure file transfer solutions and related server infrastructure. This role will troubleshoot transfer and connectivity issues, automate processes, support system integrations, and maintain a secure and reliable enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and support MFT platforms and file transfer solutions.
  • Support SFTP, FTP/FTPS, HTTP/HTTPS, and secure data transfer processes.
  • Administer Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
  • Troubleshoot failed transfers, connectivity issues, and server problems.
  • Manage PGP/GPG encryption, SSH keys, SSL/TLS certificates, and related security components.
  • Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl to automate processes.
  • Configure and monitor scheduled jobs using Control-M, AutoSys, Cron, or similar tools.
  • Perform system integration testing and support deployment of new technologies.
  • Monitor environments using tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
  • Support vendor/partner onboarding and maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in incident, change management, and on-call support activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, MFT, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with MFT platforms such as IBM Sterling or Axway.
  • Strong Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration skills.
  • Experience with file transfer protocols, networking, scripting, and automation.
  • Working knowledge of encryption, SSH key management, SSL/TLS certificates, and basic SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to support critical incidents and work effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IBM Sterling or Axway certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation or relevant Linux/Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with Control-M, AutoSys, Splunk, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
  • Experience with vendor/partner onboarding and enterprise change management.
  • Experience supporting highly secure, compliance-sensitive production environments.
