Senior Tax Accountant - Public Accounting

Columbus, OH (Hybrid) | Full-Time | $75,000 to $100,000 per year

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Experience preparing S-Corporation, C-Corporation, and partnership returns
• Advanced understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Proficiency with tax software

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review complex S-Corp, C-Corp, partnership, multistate, and individual returns
• Perform first-level reviews of staff-prepared returns
• Build income tax projections and book-to-tax workpapers
• Research tax issues and draft technical memos
• Respond to federal and state tax notices
• Mentor staff and interns

Nice-to-Haves

• CPA or actively pursuing
• CCH Axcess, CCH Fixed Assets, CaseWare, and SurePrep
• Multistate tax and tax planning experience

Compensation and Benefits
