IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer – 3-month contract – London My Client is looking for a looking for a proactive and customer-focused professional IT Support Engineer to join a busy IT team, providing high-quality 1st/2nd Line support across a modern Microsoft environment.

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for resolving technical issues from mostly walk-ins, supporting M365, Active Directory and deploying laptops. Skills & Experience from the IT Support Engineer:

Proven experience providing 1st/2nd Line IT Support in a Microsoft environment.<br />Strong Microsoft 365 administration and support experience.<br />Solid knowledge of Active Directory user and group management.<br />Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.<br />Laptop/device deployment and build using Intune<br />Good understanding of the Microsoft End User Computing (EUC) stack.<br />Any experience with Mac would be beneficial.<br />Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br />Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

Provide 1st/2nd Line technical support to end users, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.<br />Administer and support Microsoft 365, including user management, licensing, and troubleshooting.<br />Manage Active Directory user accounts, including joiners, movers, leavers, group permissions, and password resets.<br />Support and administer Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop environments.<br />Laptop and device build and deployment using Intune<br />Support a small fleet of Mac devices.<br />Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.<br />The IT Support Engineer is required onsite in London, at least 5 days a week.
