Job Description

Position: BBx/BBj Engineer Location: REMOTE Duration: Long-Term

Required
1. 10+ years recent development experience specifically with the Basis International languages of Progression/5 (BBx, Pro/5) and Business Basic for Java (BBj)
A. Recent: They are actively developing in these technologies and have been for 10+ years
B. Development experience means 80% of time actively adding new features / capabilities
vs break fix or small enhancements from production support issues
C. Current usage of BBj is to support integrations not graphical user interfaces
2. Experience with Integrations in/out a Pro/5 system (ie: http, XML, RPC)
3. Demonstrated experience with learning a custom code base they didn t develop
4. Experience developing based on specifications developed by others and working in a formal SDLC environment
5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and creating SQL queries to assist with troubleshooting
