The Role

• Operate heavy equipment, including hostlers, top loaders, and cranes, to safely move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring timely freight movement.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.
• Utilize specialized equipment to organize and manage containers within the intermodal yard.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
