Position : Intune developer
Location : Remote
Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint-management automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph APIs, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Engineer and operate Intune configuration-as-code capabilities, including export, validation, approval, deployment, drift detection, and rollback.
  • Support automation involving Microsoft 365 Desired State Configuration where appropriate.
  • Develop, upgrade, and support ADEM-owned APIs, libraries, proxy services, reporting components, and integration services using C# and .NET.
  • Maintain deployment automation for application code, databases, cloud infrastructure, and configuration.
  • Implement automated validation and compilation checks before production changes are approved.
  • Establish repository structures, branching practices, CODEOWNERS, peer-review requirements, and release controls.
  • Manage service identities, credentials, permissions, and non-human accounts used by automation pipelines.
  • Integrate ADEM platforms with Intune, Entra ID, Azure, ServiceNow, Power Automate, and other enterprise services.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline, API, deployment, authentication, and configuration-management failures.
  • Instrument services and automation to measure health, deployment outcomes, configuration drift, and operational failures.
  • Modernize or retire legacy repositories, pipelines, artifacts, cloud resources, and supporting services.
  • Create technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, and support runbooks.
  • Cross-train team members and eliminate single-person dependencies for critical code and services.
  • Partner with endpoint, desktop, security, product, and support teams to define configuration ownership and engineering standards.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience building and maintaining production infrastructure automation or platform-engineering solutions.
  • Strong PowerShell development and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience building CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions or a comparable enterprise pipeline platform.
  • Experience with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, peer review, and source-control governance.
  • Experience automating Microsoft Intune or Microsoft 365 services using Microsoft Graph APIs.
  • Working knowledge of Intune configurations, policies, applications, assignments, and administrative controls.
  • Software-development experience with C# and modern .NET, including APIs, services, or shared libraries.
  • Experience managing application configuration, credentials, service identities, and deployment environments.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, change validation, deployment, rollback, and production verification practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across application code, automation pipelines, cloud services, identity, permissions, and endpoint platforms.
  • Ability to translate operational processes into maintainable, governed automation.
  • First-Year Outcomes
  • Stabilize ownership of ADEM’s configuration-as-code, API, and CI/CD capabilities.
  • Complete knowledge transfer for critical repositories, pipelines, identities, and production services.
  • Ensure every critical codebase and pipeline has documented primary and secondary ownership.
  • Improve automated testing and production validation across ADEM deployment workflows.
  • Reduce manual deployment and configuration-management steps.
  • Establish reliable drift detection and governed change controls for Intune configurations.
  • Complete priority .NET and pipeline modernization work.
  • Retire obsolete repositories, cloud resources, service accounts, and deployment artifacts.
  • Improve documentation, monitoring, recoverability, and cross-team supportability.
