Job Title: Business Process Analyst

Responsibilities
- Support organization by analyzing, documenting, and improving agency business processes.
- Apply business process analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and develop sustainable process improvements.
- Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Create high-quality process documentation, including SOPs, analysis reports, and recommendations to support operational effectiveness and agency transformation priorities.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other assessment methods.
- Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
- Develop process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of improvements.
- Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities related to process improvements.
- Maintain project documentation, progress updates, and track risks, issues, and recommendations.
- Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines, incorporating feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst.
- Experience in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, or similar service-related business preferred.
- Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or related fields.
- Experience supporting strategic initiatives and organizational transformation.
- Experience working in government, public health, or regulated environments preferred.
- Proficiency in developing executive reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
- Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, or related professional training or certification preferred.
