Job Description

HR Support - Initial 3 month assignment with potential to extend/go perm
Up to £19 per hour DOE
Nottingham - FULLY REMOTE/Extremely flexible working
Full Time

I'm exclusively supporting a small organisation operating within a highly regulated but incredibly rewarding sector. They need an experienced HR professional to provide additional support during a particularly busy period of organisational transition. This is initially a 3-month temporary assignment, with the potential to extend. They need somebody who can come in, quickly understand what's happening and get stuck in from an ER perspective. Importantly, they are flexible on level. It's much more about having the right HR experience, values and approach.

If you've previously operated at a more senior level and simply want to pick up a short-term interim assignment with lots of flexibility, this could work really well. Equally, if you're between permanent roles, coming to the end of a contract or looking for an opportunity to broaden your ER experience, they are open-minded.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of a varied ER caseload
- Managing short and long-term sickness absence
- Supporting with fact-finding and HR investigations
- Disciplinaries, grievances, performance and capability matters
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
- Liaising with external lawyers and following through on advice
- Managing HR case files and documentation
- Supporting Occupational Health referrals and processes
- Pulling together HR data and information
- Supporting with relevant risk assessments
- Picking up wider generalist HR activity where needed

The interview process will be a simple, fairly informal Teams call. They want to move quickly, so immediate or very short-notice availability is essential.
