Your Opportunity
As a Contractor Business Analyst supporting our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) product portfolio, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories. You will play a key role in initiatives that modernize document intake, automate processing workflows, and improve operational efficiency through OCR, Machine Learning, and AI-driven capabilities.
This role is ideal for a strong analytical thinker who can transform complex business challenges into well-defined requirements that enable scalable automation and digital transformation.

Business Analyst (Contractor) - Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) & AI Automation
Your Opportunity
As a Contractor Business Analyst supporting our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) product portfolio, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories. You will play a key role in initiatives that modernize document intake, automate processing workflows, and improve operational efficiency through OCR, Machine Learning, and AI-driven capabilities.
This role is ideal for a strong analytical thinker who can transform complex business challenges into well-defined requirements that enable scalable automation and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Develop epics, user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for Agile delivery teams.
- Define requirements across Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR/ML data extraction, AI-enabled document workflows, and downstream automation capabilities.
- Document requirements for data payload generation, integrations, APIs, middleware, and back-end systems that support automated processing and UI experiences.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and story grooming.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to support solution delivery, implementation, and post-production issue resolution.
- Identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities to enhance business and operational outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to drive transformation initiatives and process optimization.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within Technology, Operations, or enterprise transformation environments.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements, use cases, process flows, and user stories.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile teams and methodologies.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Experience partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of data integrations, APIs, middleware, and back-end systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR, Machine Learning, document automation, or workflow automation platforms such as Hyperscience.
- Exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies and their application in business process automation.
- Understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting operational automation and document processing solutions.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear, developer-ready requirements.
- Curiosity and a passion for understanding complex business problems and root causes.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled automation and Intelligent Document Processing solutions.
