Job Description

Role: Google Cloud Platform Data Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA

Need Google Cloud Platform certification MUST

JOB Description:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
  • Develop ETL/ELT processes for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data.
  • Work extensively with Python and SQL for data engineering and transformation.
  • Design and implement data architecture, data models, data storage, and data processing frameworks.
  • Develop cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Work with Google BigQuery for large-scale data warehousing and analytics.
  • Build scalable batch and potentially real-time data-processing solutions using technologies such as Apache Spark/PySpark.
  • Integrate data from multiple enterprise and external sources into centralized data platforms.
  • Implement data-quality, validation, monitoring, and governance processes.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets.
  • Apply data engineering best practices around data modeling, data governance, security, and metadata management.
  • Design architecture that supports analytics, AI/ML, and downstream business applications.
  • Participate in modernization/migration of legacy data environments to cloud platforms.
