Temporary Full-Time Human Resources Specialist

Manages, resolves and makes recommendations on employee relations issues through effective, thorough and objective investigations. Advises leaders on HR policies, their interpretation and application and managing involuntary terminations, suspensions and corrective actions.

• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.

-and recommends policy changes to the manager of human resources.

• Serves as an employee advocate, providing counsel, career development and guidance to employees regarding employment issues.
• Successfully manages human resources/employee relations projects in a timely manner by defining the purpose of the project, developing milestone documents, defining critical tasks and implementation, steps and oversight through project completion.
• Research and analyze various types of data information and makes recommendation based on the findings.
• Works in collaboration with other Human Resources staff to ensure information flow and secure positive operational results within department as it relates to project management, employee activities, employee relations, termination, etc.
• Assists with overall department Performance Improvement activities. Four to Five (4-5) Years of Human Resources experience.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
• Bachelor s degree in human resources or related field.

Senior or Professional Human Resources Certificate (SPHR or PHR)
