Bill Rate: $88 -$93/hour

Job Duites: 

• Design, develop, and maintain AI platforms, developer tools, frameworks, and shared services for engineering teams.
• Build and integrate AI capabilities using Google Cloud Platform, Gemini, Vertex AI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, MCP, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Design reusable AI orchestration patterns, integrations, reference implementations, and tools for custom AI agents.
• Develop sequential, multi-agent, and deterministic graph-based workflows.
• Build and support MCP servers and clients that expose tools, resources, and enterprise data to AI agents.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot services and REST APIs supporting AI and platform capabilities.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise cloud, security, identity, and development platforms.
• Implement logging, metrics, distributed tracing, token-utilization monitoring, and other observability capabilities.
• Apply security, privacy, access control, responsible AI, governance, and cost-management practices.
• Partner with development teams to help build, deploy, and operate custom AI agents and AI services.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Contribute to technical documentation, release management, adoption initiatives, and continuous improvement of shared AI platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote AI engineering best practices across development teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production-quality software solutions.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI, LLM, developer-platform, or automation solutions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Gemini, Vertex AI, or comparable cloud-based AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, integration patterns, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience developing Java/Spring Boot REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of React.js or comparable front-end technologies.
• Experience with secure API integrations and OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of CI/CD, observability, reliability, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
