System Administrator - NYC-DSS

To meet the business needs and ITS' workload, ITS is seeking qualified candidates in the areas of Database design, architecture, and development, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of various systems that ITS supports across DSS program areas.

Tasks & Duties

• Develop design specifications.
• Develop the design for the new proposed information security solutions
• Develop the Design for deployment of high-performance, low-latency technology solutions
• Provide Stability and resiliency in the infrastructure of the solutions
• Develop documentation and reporting
• Develop documentation of new information security solutions
• Participate in various reporting functions, metrics analysis
• Document various vulnerability remediation initiatives and suggest recommendations.

Required Skills 

A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:

·       Server administration. 

·       Server security, SIEM and Log, monitoring/management, Vulnerability Management, Risk and Compliance.    

·       Anti-VirMalware, Applicable server and application security log

·       Anti-VirMalware & Endpoint Protection DLP     

·       Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Business, Information Management, or a related field
