Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Technical Analyst with a deep focus on data architecture, application integration, and platform orchestration to join our Capital Partners Technology group.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, database engineers, architects, and development teams. You will drive multi-year strategic data initiatives—including Master Data Management (MDM) platform implementations, data warehouse consolidations, modern data lakehouse adoption (Databricks), and wealth accounting system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Mapping & Source-to-Target Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on complex data structures across disparate source systems to create detailed data mapping, transformation specs, and schema designs.
• Integration Specification & Design: Analyze and document robust system-to-system data flows utilizing multiple patterns, including:
• API-based integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Batch and data loader file processes
• Direct database-driven/ODBC integrations
• Point-to-point and middleware-based interfaces
• Workflow & Process Modeling: Work closely within the Business Process Management (BPM) ecosystem to model workflows, define system interaction patterns, and manage dependencies across upstream/downstream systems.
• Data Quality & Validation: Perform hands-on data validation, profile large volumes of financial data, and trace data lineage across merged warehouses and operational platforms.
• Orchestration Support: Support and optimize workflow orchestration schedules (e.g., Apache Airflow), managing dependency trees, monitoring execution, and establishing error-handling protocols.
• SDLC & Testing Collaboration: Partner with QA and engineering teams to support integration testing (SIT/UAT), investigate root causes of lower/production environment data issues, and write comprehensive methodology documentation.

Technical & Professional Qualifications

Required

• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Systems Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Integration Analyst—specifically within Financial Services, Investment Management, or Private Banking.
• SQL Proficiency: Hands-on ability to write complex SQL queries, perform data validation across large datasets, and read/interpret PL/SQL code.
• Data Analytics: Proven track record in large-scale data mapping, source system profiling, and merging multi-source data repositories.
• Work Authorization: Must be a (USC) or Permanent Resident (GC).
• Work Model: Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Jersey City, NJ.

Preferred / Bonus

• MDM & Data Warehousing: Experience with enterprise Master Data Management solutions (e.g., GoldenSource), Databricks, or complex data warehouse consolidation initiatives.
• Financial Accounting Systems: Exposure to wealth management accounting platforms such as SEI / SEI Wealth Platform (SWP).
• Orchestration & Workflow Tools: Working knowledge of Apache Airflow or similar workflow schedulers.
• BPM Tools: Familiarity with business process execution tools and modeling notation.
