Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager – Mainframe Migration

Location: Remote (U.S.)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale mainframe migration and modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing end-to-end migration initiatives involving z/OS, COBOL, DB2, and distributed systems while coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.

• Strong experience leading mainframe migration/modernization projects.

• Knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, DB2, and enterprise infrastructure.

• Experience managing project plans, budgets, timelines, risks (RAID), and executive reporting.

• Ability to coordinate infrastructure, application, networking, and business teams.

• Experience working with IBM support, third-party vendors, and enterprise clients.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Teams, and other project management tools.

Preferred:

• PMP certification.

• Experience with large enterprise transformation or data center migration projects.
