Job Title: Contract Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Mechanical Design Engineer Immediate start available Duration: 3 months Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a technically varied role in support of a key project.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a New Product Development project, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle. As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :

Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product life cycle)<br />Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)<br />Concept Generation<br />Produce Documentation to support Development<br />Knowledge of manufacturing methods The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have; Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment (Ideally 4-5 years min)<br />Experience working on instrumentation or complex bespoke equipment/machinery<br />3D CAD - SolidWorks or Inventor<br />Full Product Life-cycle Design Experience.
