SEN / SEND Tutor | Newcastle-under-Lyme, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28-£35 per hour

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN/SEND Tutors to join a dynamic organization that is committed to transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs. This is an opportunity to make a real difference within your community, working flexibly and creatively.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science.
• Support children and young people aged KS1 - KS5 with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with local authorities and schools to support vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
