Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in transaction processing, payment systems, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support enterprise payment and transaction processing solutions in a government environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and project teams.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
• Analyze business processes and recommend process improvements.
• Create documentation using Confluence and support Agile delivery.
• Perform data validation and basic SQL analysis to support business requirements.
• Support payment processing and transaction-based business initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience with Transaction Processing, Lockbox Operations, or Payment Clearing Systems.
• Experience with Federal Government Standards/Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Confluence.
• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Experience with Rules Engines and Business Process Management (BPM).
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
