Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Note: The client is looking for California Local candidates (First Priority).

• 5+ years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails framework (Rails 5/6/7) for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of database design and development using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and repository management using GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Knowledge of application security best practices, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
