Role : RPA Developer / Lead with AI Experience

Experience: 6 to 12 years 

Location:McKinney, TX.
Experienced RPA expert to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions. The role combines traditional RPA with AI capabilities such as document understanding, machine learning and generative AI. The goal is to automate complex, judgment-based business processes, not only rule-based tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business processes for automation potential and build business cases with stakeholders
• Design, develop, test and deploy RPA bots end to end
• Build intelligent automation by adding AI services to bots, such as OCR, document processing, NLP, classification and LLM-based decision steps
• Create solution design documents (SDD) and process design documents (PDD)
• Manage bot deployment, scheduling, monitoring and exception handling in production
• Support and maintain existing bots, troubleshoot failures and improve stability
• Follow RPA governance, security and Center of Excellence (CoE) standards
• Work with business users, IT and QA onsite to deliver automations on schedule

Must-have skills

• Strong hands-on experience with at least one leading RPA platform: UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism (or a comparable enterprise tool such as Power Automate)
• Proven track record of delivering production bots end to end
• Experience with orchestrator or control room tools for scheduling, queues and credentials
• Solid understanding of exception handling, logging and reusable automation frameworks
• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs and integration with enterprise applications
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage business users directly

AI experience (required)

• Hands-on with AI in automation, such as UiPath Document Understanding or AI Center, Automation Anywhere Document Automation or Co-Pilot, or Blue Prism Decipher
• Experience with intelligent document processing (IDP) and OCR for invoices, forms, claims and similar documents
• Exposure to generative AI or LLM integration in workflows (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or similar)
• Familiarity with agentic automation concepts is a strong plus

Nice to have

• RPA certifications (UiPath Advanced Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional, Blue Prism Professional Developer)
• Insurance domain experience, especially policy administration, claims or underwriting
• Python or .NET scripting
• Experience with process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining)
