Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Atlanta, GA- Need Locals candidates
Interview Mode: WebCam or In Person
Work Arrangement: Local Candidates Only

Job Description:

The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management team and related technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate cross-functional IT project activities.

  • Schedule project meetings and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.

  • Monitor project documentation, deliverables, schedules, and follow-ups.

  • Work with Project Managers and business teams to document project scope and high-level requirements.

  • Assist with requirements gathering, design discussions, application development, testing, training, and rollout activities.

  • Maintain project status, resource forecasts, and reporting tools.

  • Prepare status reports, project communications, PowerPoint presentations, and project schedules.

  • Maintain RAID logs – Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions.

  • Communicate project status and upcoming activities to customers and stakeholders.

  • Support customer expectations, lessons learned, and retrospective activities.

  • Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of recent, verifiable, relevant project management experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Asana.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical teams.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing large-scale programs.

  • Experience implementing business processes within a government organization.

  • PMP or CAPM certification.

  • Workday ERP experience is a plus.
