Sr Hadoop Developer

job summary:

Position Summary:

- Work on building and maintaining large-scale data platforms in the financial domain

- Contribute to data engineering, platform stability, and deployment automation

- Partner with cross-functional teams (business, risk, compliance, architecture) to deliver data solutions

- Work on Big Data platforms using:

- Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, YARN)

- Streaming technologies (Kafka preferred)

- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and technical implementations

- Troubleshoot and optimize data processing jobs, batch and streaming pipelines

- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Support automated deployments and release processes

- Work with infrastructure as code tools

- Monitor systems using tools like Splunk

- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
