Job Description

Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience in enterprise IT audit, SOX 404 compliance, and internal control testing.
  • Proficiency in IT General Controls (ITGC) across Change Management, Logical Access, and Computer Operations.
  • Experience with IT Application Controls (ITAC) testing and automated business logic verification.
  • Experience in Operational Effectiveness (OE) testing cycles, sample selection, and workpaper preparation.
  • Experience with remediation validation and testing environments subject to prior material weaknesses.
  • Experience in audit workflow platforms, GRC systems, and scoping new enterprise systems into audit cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Execute second-round Operational Effectiveness (OE) testing across 50 to 60 critical IT General Controls.
  • Evaluate core control areas including system change authorization, user access provisioning, and job scheduling.
  • Test automated IT Application Controls and report configurations for newly scoped business software.
  • Prepare comprehensive, audit-ready workpapers and documentation adhering to strict Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
  • Perform meticulous self-reviews of test evidence to support heightened regulatory scrutiny and audit quality.
  • Identify control deficiencies, assess remediation effectiveness, and document root-cause impact analyses.
  • Coordinate directly with internal IT stakeholders, systems administrators, and audit leadership to track testing status.
