Fire Alarm Technical Consultant – Contract Brentwood, Essex Starting from £375 per day 6-Month Contract | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technical Consultant for a 6-month contract based in Brentwood, Essex.

This is an office-based technical role focused on reviewing completed fire alarm works, technical compliance and certification across a reactive and PPM contract. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical fire alarm background who understands BS 5839 and has experience reviewing documentation and signing off fire alarm certification.

The Role Review completed fire alarm works and associated documentation<br />Review and sign off fire alarm certification<br />Check certification and supporting evidence for accuracy and compliance<br />Ensure works meet BS 5839 and relevant industry standards<br />Identify non-conformances and advise on remedial works required<br />Provide technical guidance to engineers<br />Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation<br />Liaise with engineers and clients regarding technical queries<br />Maintain accurate certification and compliance recordsExperience Required Strong technical background within the fire alarm industry<br />Excellent working knowledge of BS 5839<br />Previous experience reviewing or signing off fire alarm certification<br />Experience within fire alarm design, commissioning, inspection or compliance<br />Good knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems<br />Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and certification<br />FIA or equivalent fire alarm qualifications advantageous<br />BAFE or similar quality framework experience beneficialContract Details Starting from £375 per day<br />6-month contract<br />Monday to Friday<br />Office-based in Brentwood, Essex<br />Immediate start available<br />Consistent workThis would suit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or Technical Manager looking to move away from day-to-day field work and into a technical role focused on compliance, certification and quality assurance.
