Engine Maintenance Technician

£46,000 plus van & bonus

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover a region around Gloucester to Swindon to south Birmingham. This role will involve conducting planned & preventative maintenance on large engines.

As a field-based Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Adhering to all H&S regulations in a power generation setting
• Performing preventative, corrective & reactive maintenance on large engines & powergen assets
• Responding to out of hours call out during your on-call week
• Managing van stock
• Attending training to enhance skills

To be considered for this role you should have:

• NVQ level 3 or C&G qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working on large diesel or gas engines
• Diagnostic & fault-finding skills
• Willingness to travel to remote sites around the Swindon & Abingdon region
• Full UK driving licence
