Job description

We are seeking an expert-level Senior SQL Database Administrator to manage and support critical enterprise database systems.
 

Position Overview

  • Work Arrangement: Onsite
  • Location: Little Rock, AR
  • Interview Process: Onsite Interviews Only

Key Required Skills & Qualifications

  • SQL Server Administration: 4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016/2022+ (installation, upgrades, patching, maintenance, error log monitoring).
  • High Availability & DR: Experience with Always On, AWS HA Zones, Disaster Recovery planning, and point-in-time recovery (RPO/RTO).
  • Database Optimization: Proficient in T-SQL coding/tuning, ETL, index tuning, DMVs, Profiler, and managing VLDBs and high-transaction systems.
  • Security & Storage: Managing user security, encryption (at rest/in transit), auditing, disk capacity planning, and AWS storage systems.
  • Windows Server Administration: 3+ years managing Windows Servers, EC2 instances, Windows Failover Clusters (WFCS), PowerShell automation, and core server roles.
  • 24/7 Support: Availability to provide 24-hour operational support.

Preferred Skills (Plus)

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Cloud storage/backup, firewalls, and Active Directory (GPO, DNS, SPN).
  • Specialized Software: Experience with GenTax software architecture and application maintenance.
  • Compliance Standards: Familiarity with industry security standards (PII, FIPS, PUB1075).
