Supporting over 3,500 individuals nationwide, our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do.<br />We're now looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Data &amp; Analytics team and play a key role in developing scalable, reliable, and innovative data solutions that support better business decisions across the organisation.<br />The Role<br />This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering end-to-end solutions.

You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring high-quality, governed data is available for reporting and analytics.<br />Working closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and stakeholders across the business, you'll translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving improvements across our data platform.<br />What You'll Be Doing<br />Designing and building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines<br />Developing scalable data models and optimised SQL transformations<br />Monitoring and improving data quality, reliability, and performance<br />Delivering technical data projects from concept to production<br />Enhancing our Azure data platform using Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL<br />Implementing data security and governance controls<br />Collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners<br />Creating and maintaining technical documentation and data standardsWhat We're Looking For<br />Essential Skills &amp; Experience<br />✔ Proven experience delivering production-grade data engineering solutions<br />✔ Strong Azure data platform expertise (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics)<br />✔ Advanced SQL skills including data modelling and optimisation<br />✔ Experience using Python for data processing and automation<br />✔ Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile delivery methods<br />✔ Understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks<br />✔ Ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders<br />Desirable Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, Real-Time Analytics)<br />Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake<br />dbt (data build tool)<br />Experience within healthcare, social care, or other regulated environmentsWhy Join Voyage Care?<br />In return, you'll join a values-driven organisation where your work genuinely makes a difference.
