The Role A hands-on Senior Data Engineer position embedded within a cross-functional innovation team, working alongside analysts, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will design and maintain production data pipelines, build full-stack data applications, integrate third-party platforms and support the development of generative AI tools. This role suits someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders and has a genuine interest in how technology can transform professional services. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain production-grade ETL and ELT pipelines from internal and external sources including APIs and structured and unstructured data repositories Develop full-stack applications and data-intensive tools that support internal workflows, client-facing operations and wider business functions Integrate third-party platforms and data sources via REST APIs to support reporting, automation and application development Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders and senior leadership Deploy and monitor scheduled jobs and automated workflows, ensuring reliability, performance and timely alerting Support the development and deployment of generative AI tools, including data infrastructure and application components that power AI-driven workflows Identify opportunities to improve existing data processes through automation and better engineering practices Document solutions, data models and development standards to support maintainability and knowledge sharing Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, using Jira to manage and track workload What You'll Need Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience 1 to 3 years of experience developing and deploying data engineering or software development solutions in Python Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production data pipelines across multiple source types Experience integrating data sources and third-party platforms via REST APIs Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under deadlines Clear communicator, comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders UK work authorisation Desirable: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau Familiarity with full-stack application development Experience working with generative AI tools, large language models or AI-assisted development workflows Experience in a professional services environment Why Apply?
