CA Gen Modernization Lead

Location: Remote Contract: 12+ Months

Required Skills and Experience

At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting applications built with CA Gen, Broadcom Gen, or COOL.
In-depth understanding of CA Gen models, runtime architecture, internal components, and code-generation behavior.
At least 5 years of COBOL development experience.
Strong capability in reading, interpreting, and analyzing COBOL generated by CA Gen.
Previous involvement in mainframe modernization, legacy application migration, or replacement initiatives.
Ability to reconstruct application logic from existing models and source code and convert findings into precise technical specifications.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex legacy systems with limited or incomplete documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, developers, and other technical stakeholder

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
