Java Full Stack Developer

Role: Full Stack Java Developer 

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term Project

Java Full Stack Developer + Kafka + Azure

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain full stack Java applications supporting accounting workflows

- Design and implement event-driven components using Kafka

- Work with Cosmos DB for data persistence and modeling

- Develop Azure Data Services pipelines to move/transform data originating from mainframe systems

Required Skills:

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Java development

- Working knowledge of Kafka (messaging/streaming)

- Experience with CosmosDB (or similar NoSQL databases)

- Experience developing Azure Data Services, particularly integrating with mainframe-originated data

- Basic-level accounting domain knowledge/exposure (custody accounting a plus)
