AWS Data Engineer - AWS Bedrock

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with 9+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud modernization, and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AI Agent development using Amazon Bedrock and proven experience executing on-premises to AWS cloud migration programs.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data solutions, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and leveraging AWS generative AI capabilities to build intelligent, agent-based solutions.

Required Skills:

9+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Cloud Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and data engineering solutions.

Proven experience in AI Agent development / Agentic AI workflows.

Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, including foundation models and generative AI capabilities.

Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications and intelligent agents.

Strong experience with on-premises to cloud migration, preferably migration to AWS.

Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.

Strong programming experience with Python and/or other relevant data engineering languages.

Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Step Functions, and related services.

Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, data quality, and data governance.

Experience with cloud modernization and migration strategies.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
