We are currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Recruitment Officer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a proactive and organised recruitment professional looking to play a key role in attracting and hiring skilled talent across the business.
Working closely with the HR team and hiring managers, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, supporting the business in recruiting engineering, manufacturing and office-based employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
- Write engaging job adverts for engineering, manufacturing and office-based vacancies.
- Advertise vacancies across job boards, social media and other recruitment platforms.
- Source and shortlist suitable candidates using CV databases and online recruitment tools.
- Conduct telephone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Liaise with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing a professional candidate experience.
- Prepare offer letters and support the onboarding process for new starters.
- Complete right-to-work and pre-employment checks.
- Build strong working relationships with departmental managers to understand current and future recruitment needs.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and produce recruitment reports where required.
- Provide general HR and recruitment administration support.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Internal Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Coordinator role.
- Experience recruiting within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Experience using recruitment systems, job boards and Microsoft Office.
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and prioritise workloads effectively.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
