Job Description

We are looking for a strong PeopleSoft Finance Technical Developer with hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

The ideal candidate will have a strong PeopleSoft development background and experience using OIC to support integrations between PeopleSoft Finance and external/Oracle Cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, enhance, and support PeopleSoft Financials/FSCM applications.
  • Work extensively with PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR, Integration Broker, and Process Scheduler.
  • Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, packages, and views.
  • Design and develop integrations between PeopleSoft and Oracle/external applications using OIC.
  • Develop and support OIC integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, mappings, transformations, and error handling.
  • Support PeopleSoft Integration Broker and troubleshoot inbound/outbound interfaces.
  • Work with Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, and Commitment Control.
  • Develop technical solutions for enhancements, interfaces, reports, conversions, and customizations.
  • Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design specifications.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
  • Support PeopleSoft batch processes, Application Engine programs, SQR processes, and scheduled jobs.
  • Participate in PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, Oracle integration teams, and technical architects.
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
  • Create technical documentation, interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and integration documentation.

  • 7+ years of PeopleSoft Technical Development experience
  • Strong hands-on PeopleSoft Finance / FSCM experience
