Day Shift Engineer<br /><br />Salary: £49,000<br />Shift Pattern: Days, 4 on / 4 off (average 42 hours per week)<br />Location: Lincolnshire (on-site)<br />Contract: Permanent<br /><br />Our client runs a very successful food processing plant in Lincolnshire.

They're looking for a Day Shift Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent, days-only 4 on / 4 off pattern.<br /><br />The Role<br /><br />- Carry out PPMs on a variety of equipment across the site<br />- Respond to breakdowns, find the fault and get equipment back up and running quickly<br />- Work alongside production to keep lines running at their best<br />- Close out work orders and keep maintenance records accurate and up to date<br />- Get to the root cause of repeat issues and help improve reliability over time<br /><br />What To Expect<br /><br />Advanced technology in a busy food processing plant, working as part of a close-knit shift with great camaraderie.<br /><br />What We're Looking For<br /><br />- A multi-skilled engineering background, covering both electrical and mechanical<br />- A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent apprenticeship)<br /><br />Nice To Have<br /><br />- An electrical qualification<br />- Recent food, FMCG or pharmaceutical experience<br /><br />What's On Offer<br /><br />- £49,000 basic salary<br />- Days only, on a 4 on / 4 off pattern<br />- A permanent role with a very successful food processor<br /><br />How To Apply<br /><br />Click apply, or contact Oli Edwards on 01780 483 999 / for a confidential discussion.<br /><br />The process is an initial interview, followed by a site tour and a meet and greet with the team.<br /><br />If you're a multi-skilled engineer looking for a days-only role with a good work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.<br /><br />As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
