Job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Windows Automation & Deployment Engineer with strong experience in PowerShell scripting, Windows administration, OS imaging, and automated deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts, troubleshooting Windows operating system deployment issues, and ensuring reliable imaging and post-deployment validation in an ATM deployment environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate Windows deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Perform Windows OS imaging, deployment, and recovery activities across ATM systems.
  • Work with Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) to support boot processes, imaging, and OS deployment.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Boot Configuration Data (BCD), boot managers, and Windows startup issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system, driver, boot, and deployment-related issues.
  • Analyze deployment logs to identify failures, troubleshoot errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform post-image validation to ensure the operating system, drivers, configurations, and required services are functioning correctly.
  • Automate repetitive deployment and system administration tasks to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Support deployment testing, validation, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful ATM deployment and system readiness.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows operating system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with WinPE, BCD, Windows boot processes, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows imaging, OS deployment, and reimaging processes.
  • Ability to analyze deployment logs and troubleshoot imaging or boot failures.
  • Experience performing post-image validation and resolving deployment-related issues.
  • Knowledge of Windows drivers, system configuration, and hardware compatibility.
  • Experience working in an ATM deployment or ATM endpoint environment is highly desirable.
