Chief Systems Architect | Tucson, AZ, United States | Hybrid | $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 This employer is a leader in technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intelligence customers. They are recognized for supporting critical missions in cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics, helping clients stay ahead in a constantly evolving security landscape. The Role • Serve as the lead technical authority guiding architectural design, systems integration, and enterprise strategy for a high-visibility geospatial intelligence initiative. • Develop and implement a scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architecture supporting current and future geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) missions. • Provide authoritative recommendations on technology integration, standards adoption, and data flow optimization. • Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions that meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements. • Drive cloud-native solution strategies, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines in secure environments. • Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies to inform future-state architecture and capability roadmaps. What You'll Need • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a Polygraph examination. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 10-13 years of experience. • 10+ years of progressive experience in systems architecture, software development, solution engineering, or enterprise IT. • Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/C2S/IC GovCloud), data integration, and secure multi-domain systems. • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex, mission-critical enterprise architectures within the Intelligence Community. • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53), zero-trust architectures, and cloud security principles.
