Job Description

Chief Systems Architect | Venice, IL, United States | Hybrid | $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology and defense solutions provider known for its innovation and commitment to national security. This established organization supports critical missions in the defense and intelligence sectors, leveraging advanced technology-enabled services and software capabilities. The Role • Serve as the lead architect for a primary task order, providing architectural guidance and alignment across the broader program. • Act as the principal systems architect and strategic technical advisor on enterprise systems design, cloud integration, and architecture modernization. • Lead the development and evolution of architectural frameworks and system-of-systems designs aligned with long-term geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) strategies. • Provide authoritative recommendations on technology integration, standards adoption, and data flow optimization. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions. • Conduct architecture reviews and provide governance to ensure compliance with federal frameworks and cybersecurity mandates. What You'll Need • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a Polygraph examination. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with significant prior experience, or a Master’s degree with 10-13 years of experience. • 10+ years of progressive experience in systems architecture, software development, solution engineering, or enterprise IT. • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise architectures within intelligence communities. • Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/C2S/IC GovCloud), data integration, and secure multi-domain systems. • Familiarity with GEOINT data, relevant tools, infrastructure, and tradecraft.
