Job Description

We are looking for experienced Ruby on Rails Developers with Python experience to join our team on a remote contract opportunity. Candidates should have strong software development experience and be comfortable working with Ruby on Rails and/or Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Ruby on Rails and Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Use Git and CI/CD practices for development and deployment.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Be willing to upskill in Ruby on Rails if coming primarily from a Python background.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of software development experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience or strong working knowledge of Python.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs.
• Strong SQL database experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD.
• Unit testing experience.
• Ability and willingness to learn/upskill in Ruby on Rails.
