IT Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations across manufacturing and engineering environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational IT, security patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and IT service management.

The candidate will coordinate security activities across multiple teams and sites, monitor incident resolution, track remediation progress, and communicate security risks and operational updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly security patching and endpoint protection activities, track site progress, and escalate delays.

• Manage urgent security vulnerabilities, monitor remediation efforts, and communicate updates to senior management.

• Monitor ServiceNow queues and resolve security incidents and service requests.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for cybersecurity operations.

• Develop and maintain Excel reports, PowerPoint presentations, and visual dashboards.

• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across manufacturing and engineering environments.

• Collaborate with local and global IT teams, infrastructure teams, development teams, and site managers.

• Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and track action items.

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, approximately four weeks per year.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of operational IT experience, including cybersecurity.

• Experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft 365.

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Experience with security patching, vulnerability management, or endpoint protection.

• Ability to create dashboards and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, or Power BI.

• Strong communication, organizational, and meeting facilitation skills.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize incidents, and assess business impact and urgency.

• Ability to work onsite three days per week in Greenville, SC.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification.

• Experience with Active Directory, WSUS, Kibana, OCS Inventory, Symantec, or Microsoft Defender.

• Application development or infrastructure experience.

• Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or enterprise IT operations.
