Product Owner - Healthcare

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in Healthcare Capitation to lead Agile product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will own the product backlog, collaborate with business and technical teams, define user stories, drive UAT, and ensure successful delivery of healthcare capitation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Own and prioritize the product backlog for healthcare capitation systems.
Gather and translate business requirements into Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
Collaborate with Finance, Provider Network, Actuarial, and Engineering teams.
Lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews.
Define and lead UAT strategy, testing, defect resolution, and production sign-off.
Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and provider contract requirements.
Identify process improvements and monitor KPIs for payment accuracy and reconciliation.
Communicate project status, risks, and delivery updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
Strong experience with Healthcare Capitation processes within Health Plans or Managed Care.
Hands-on experience with provider assignments, payment calculations, reconciliation, and disbursement.
Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience leading UAT, defect management, and production sign-off.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
