You’ll be responsible for defining product strategy and guiding the evolution of software solutions used daily by thousands of convenience stores and fuel retailers across North America. Working closely with customers, executive leadership, engineering teams, sales, customer support, and Product Owners, you’ll identify market opportunities, establish product direction, and ensure our products continue delivering measurable business value.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding customer challenges, analyzing market trends, and transforming strategic ideas into successful software products.

The Product Manager’s responsibilities will include the following:

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for assigned product lines.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, business challenges, and industry trends through direct customer engagement.
  • Represent the voice of the customer while balancing technical feasibility, business priorities, and long-term product health.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to align product investments and roadmap priorities with company objectives.
  • Prioritize strategic initiatives based on customer value, market demand, business objectives, and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and identify future product opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Owners to translate strategic initiatives into executable product plans and well-defined roadmaps.
  • Lead product planning for major initiatives, releases, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Support throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to address complex customer needs, strategic initiatives, and high-impact customer engagements.
  • Facilitate customer business reviews, product discovery sessions, and strategic roadmap discussions to validate product direction and strengthen customer partnerships.

·       Ensure customer feedback, enhancement requests, and product commitments are evaluated, prioritized, communicated, and tracked through completion.

  • Ensure timely communication of product updates, roadmap changes, release plans, and customer-impacting initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support product launches, positioning, messaging, customer communications, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Establish processes that ensure customer-facing teams have the information, training, and product readiness needed to successfully support new releases and product enhancements.
  • Evaluate product performance using customer feedback, adoption metrics, business outcomes, and market success to guide future investment decisions.

·       Champion transparency by ensuring customer commitments, product decisions, and strategic initiatives are documented, communicated, and tracked to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or related software leadership roles.
  • Experience managing commercial software products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success defining product strategy and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer discovery and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and maintain trusted relationships with customers, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.

·       Excellent meeting facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

  • Ability to analyze market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform product strategy.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable making data-driven product decisions using customer feedback, business metrics, and market insights.
  • Ability to influence decisions and drive alignment without direct authority.
