Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst with strong expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to support end-to-end customs and compliance management processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document trade compliance requirements, support system enhancements, and ensure regulatory adherence across global trade operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and support end-to-end trade compliance processes within SAP GTS, including customs management and regulatory compliance.
Support new business processes around global trade and other areas such as supply chain and other key functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business, logistics, finance, and compliance) on small to large-scale projects.
Plan, coordinate, and track project activities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to trade compliance initiatives.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements specific to trade compliance processes.
Create functional specifications and ensure requirements are reviewed, validated, and signed off by stakeholders.
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, design discussions, and status updates with project stakeholders.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints, and proactively communicate impacts and mitigation plans.
Support system integrations and data flows between SAP GTS, SAP SD, SAP CRM, SAP ECC, and downstream reporting tools.
Utilize SQL and Snowflake to support data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
Support reporting and analytics using SAP BI and related tools.
Provide production support, including analysis and resolution of defects, incidents, and bug fixes related to trade compliance systems.
Assist with testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and support go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
The work you will do varies depending on the client, as well as your capabilities and experience.
Technical Business Analysts are an important contributor to our team, and handle a combination of: -Managing project work streams and deliverables.
Articulating and training teams on high level technology concepts.
Collaborating with team to create deliverables ranging from deep technical documentation to executive level readouts.
Travel and work onsite at client locations (50%).
BS degree in a Business or Technology related field.
Demonstrated interest in technology. Prior experience in any of the following - software implementations, software development, financial analysis, or technology professional services. Ability to create technical documentation (including use cases, requirements, test plans, process maps).
Aptitude for solving qualitative and quantitative problems ability to deal with ambiguity. S
strong research/analytical and problem solving skills and ability to gather, analyze and document information clearly and efficiently.
Able to comprehend basic to complex business issues, contribute to IT business projects or IT sponsored technology projects by translating business needs into understandable requirements.
Willingness to travel at least 50% to client locations in the US and internationally.
Financial modeling and large data analysis is a Plus.
