ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW 7.x, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA Modeling, data warehousing, ETL, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing BW data models, developing ETL processes, extracting data from SAP ECC/S/4HANA, optimizing data loads, and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.

MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong experience with SAP BW 7.x and BW/4HANA.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • ADSO

  • Composite Providers

  • Open ODS Views

  • InfoObjects

  • DTPs

  • Transformations

  • Process Chains

  • BEx Queries

• Experience with SAP HANA Modeling and HANA-optimized BW objects.

• Strong SQL and ABAP debugging knowledge.

• Experience extracting data from SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.

• Experience with performance tuning and data-load optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, InfoProviders, ADSOs, InfoObjects, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.

• Develop and support ETL processes using SAP BW DataSources, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.

• Create and optimize BW reports and dashboards integrated with SAP BusinessObjects, SAC, or other reporting tools.

• Perform data extraction from SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data loads, process chains, and reporting issues.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Prepare technical specifications, functional documentation, and support documentation.

• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and testing activities.

• Support production issues and provide timely resolutions to business users.
